Dear Kaden,
Today you are closer to being a TWO year old....how is this possible?! A year and a half ago, you came into this world and changed our lives forever. Little did we know how our lives would fill with Joy and Laughter with your sweet presence.
You are such a little sponge! You soak up every morsel up in everything that is happening around you, and you are not afraid to tell us how it all makes you feel! Your vocabulary is absolutely blowing up.....and even though mommy and daddy may be the only ones who can decipher all of it, it's absolutely there. you love the word poop, as most boys do. We talk about this word a lot because we are desperately trying to get you to stop doing this during your bathtime! Your other favorite word right now, is Pool. You are a little fishie and love all things pool. When you awake in the morning, this is sometimes the first thing you say, in this sweet little whisper tone, as if it is one big secret!
Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star is your favorite tune, and you let us know that you are ready to hear it by saying "Up Up Up"(your favorite lyric is "up above the world so high". The Wiggles are also a favorite of yours, there is nothing more that you love to wake up to than those dancing fools. You love balls, all things Elmo and making convoys with all your trucks.
We went to see your new doctor today, and although he was super nice, he is about a 40 minute drive, so we may try to find something a bit closer. At 18 months, you weigh 24 pounds (in the 25th percentile) and you are 32 inches tall (50th percentile). He said you were absolutely perfect, and we agree 100%.
I love watching you grow sweet boy.
